1. DGQ - What is a food desert?

 

2. Discuss quickly the documentary you watched.

 

3. Chocolate tasting simulation - you will be given 3 pieces of chocolate with varying cacao content. I will provide instructions on how to taste each piece. Do not gobble them! You will then be recording the required response on the handout provided. You may want to drink some water after each piece to clear your palate. (Do refer to the bottom of the sheet. It explains clearly too.)

 

4. You will be referring to the chocolate wheel tasting handout to decide how each piece tastes in your mouth. I will display a map of the world as a cheat sheet where the choclate comes from. Try and guess...:-)
